New & Improved Screen
(Grand Island, NY) – New York Wire, an industry leader in screen technology and product innovation, is once again ahead of the curve in setting global trends in the insect screen market. New York Wire is excited to officially offer newly upgraded screening products. The new & improved screen product line includes several enhancements including GREENGUARD GOLD Certification and the elimination of ortho-phthalates.
First, New York Wire has achieved GREENGUARD GOLD certification on their full line of fiberglass and polyester screens. This certification helps buyers to identify products and materials with low chemical emissions. In fact, New York Wire has achieved the tougher GOLD certification which faces stricter criteria and ensures that product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.
New York Wire screen is also now ortho-phthalate free. We are ahead of the worldwide regulations by removing these substances from our coatings and the first in our industry to do this as well. Our proactive measures also make us in compliance with the California Prop 65 regulations. While our screen was previously under the safe harbor limit, we have removed the substance completely from our insect screen product line.
With these improvements, New York Wire screen still maintains the same great performance and quality it’s always provided. Additionally, both the aesthetics and processability of our screen remain unchanged.
